For me, an orchestra is a living organism - a gathering of skilled individuals who, guided by one vision, fuse into one powerful voice. For me, of paramount importance is that that personal voice of the orchestra resonates to the far corners of the city in which it resides. What drives me is the ability to inspire musicians, to not only lead them in the music but also excite them to discover together how much deeper they can dig into a particular repertoire together. This is how I like to search, together with other researchers, for the real motivation and basis of the music we perform.

Working with young musicians is one of my greatest joys; they are the future of our music sector and it is my mission to introduce them to the rich symphonic heritage of composers such as Gustav Mahler and Anton Bruckner. These grand works require dedication, vision and a deep musical commitment - something I would like to instil in the professionals of tomorrow.

What sets me apart is my entrepreneurial spirit. I am always looking for ways to renew the orchestral landscape, whether through innovative collaborations or by inspiring a new generation of musicians. For me, music is not static; it is a constantly evolving process of creativity and interaction, and I see myself as the catalyst in that process.
